How do we turn in our videos?
A special "Video Submissions" folder has been created by the teacher in Google Drive. This folder is shared with all students in the class. Audio or video files should be exported or saved to this folder directly from your devices. For trouble accessing or uploading files, please see Mr. Smith for help setting up or navigating the menus on your device to easily upload or share directly to this folder.
WiFi Connections at School
In order for devices to work at school, they must be connected to the "Columbia" WiFi network. Students may connect to this network using their assigned school login and passwords. The first time you connect there will be no access to the internet. To enable access all users must install a special certificate using the instructions below.
1. Connect to the "Columbia" Wifi network using your school login and password.
2. Open your web browser and type in the following address: "content.jck12.org"
3. When the page loads, click on the type of device you are using.
4. Follow the exact directions to install the iBoss certificate onto your device. (Android devices must restart after installing!)
Connect with the teacher using Remind
Remind is a fantastic app that allows teachers and students to connect safely and securely. Important messages will be sent to students throughout the hour, when needed, especially if students are scattered about the school working on video projects. Students should also regularly communicate with the teacher when needed.
2 ways to connect with Remind:
1. Download the Remind app. Choose "Join a Class" and use the class code "@cchsavp".
*The app is the best way to use Remind because it works over WiFi when you are out of service.
2. Send a text to the number "81010" with the message "@cchsavp" and you will begin receiving my
messages as standard text messages.
